SALSA舞又称莎莎舞，起源于南美，是拉丁舞的一种，属于风情拉丁舞。确切的说发源于加勒比海岛国古巴，当时有一种从英国和法国传入的乡村舞蹈Contra-Danze，与古巴当地的舞蹈Son结合起来，形成了新的舞蹈风格。

SALSA dance, also known as Sasha dance, originated in South America, is a Latin dance, belong to the amorous feelings of Latin dance.  Properly speaking, it originated in the Caribbean island of Cuba, when a rural dance Contra-Danze, introduced from Britain and France combined with the local dance Son of Cuba, formed a new dance style.
